Attorney Hans Peter Haahr founded the law firm now known as Haahr Law Group in 2007 to serve the communities of Tampa Bay and the state of Florida. We’re on your side. We represent the everyday people and help fight against the insurance companies when they wrongfully deny coverage or under pay losses.
We have extensive experience in a variety of insurance areas, including property, automobile, truck and motorcycle accidents, premises and products liability cases, among others.
Our diverse litigation experience includes both state and federal courts in Florida. We are able to try cases in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington D.C, as well as courts in Tennessee and New York.
We make ourselves as accessible and transparent as possible so you can understand the complexities of your case. We work with our clients to find the best suitable legal solution for each client’s legal needs in a way that is efficient, cost-effective and innovative.

Hans Haahr
Hans Peter Haahr, a Martindale-Hubbell BV-rated attorney*, began his professional legal career in Miami at the law firm of Mase & Gasenheimer, P.A., practicing Maritime law and litigating complex civil matters, such as class action lawsuits and maritime disaster claims. Afterward, he practiced at the Tampa office of Cole, Scott, & Kissane, P.A., whereas a Senior Litigation Associate he litigated a wide variety of complex commercial and personal injury cases in both state and federal courts.
Hans was born and raised in Denmark and moved to the United States to attend the University of South Alabama, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Afterward, Hans attended the University of Miami School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude. He is admitted to practice in all courts in the states of Tennessee and Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He is also admitted to Federal Claims Court in Washington, D.C.
Hans is a member of the Florida Bar, the St. Petersburg Bar Association (Real Property Section), and the Danish American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia (DACC). Hans speaks English, Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian.
Attorney Hans Peter Haahr oversees civil cases for the firm and offers a wealth of experience as a litigator in State and Federal courts. Hans has handled complex commercial and personal injury cases as well as traditional insurance-related issues. He works with both individuals and businesses to develop innovative, effective legal strategies to resolve legal disputes.

Staci Haahr
Staci Haahr has served as the firm’s business manager since it opened in 2007 and brings extensive experience in managing small businesses. In addition to managing the business and maintaining client relations, Staci helps the firm’s small business clients with incorporation. She attended Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. After college, she attended Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree.
Lina Rodriguez
Lina is an experienced paralegal with a Bachelor’s degree from St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Florida. She is a native Spanish speaker and provides expert research and analysis for the Haahr Law Group team. Lina assists in the preparation of documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and in the preparation of cases and hearings.
