Hans Peter Haahr
Hans Peter Haahr, a Martindale-Hubbell BV rated attorney*, began his professional legal career in Miami at the law firm of Mase & Gasenheimer, P.A., practicing Maritime law and litigating complex civil matters, such as class action lawsuits and maritime disaster claims. Afterward, he practiced at the Tampa office of Cole, Scott, & Kissane, P.A., where as a Senior Litigation Associate he litigated a wide variety of complex commercial and personal injury cases in both state and federal courts.
Hans was born and raised in Denmark and moved to the United States to attend the University of South Alabama, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Afterward, Hans attended the University of Miami School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude. He is admitted to practice in all courts in the states of Tennessee and Florida, and the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He is also admitted to Federal Claims Court in Washington, D.C.
Hans is a member of the Florida Bar, the St. Petersburg Bar Association (Real Property Section) and the Danish American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia (DACC). Hans speaks English, Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian.
